The audience of the popular historic Turkish series Kurulus Osman are eagerly waiting for an update on the release of the third season.
Following the immense success of the flagship series Dirilis Ertugrul, the sequel Kurulus Osman continues to engage fans from all around the world. The avid viewers of the series are anticipating that the new season will continue to break all the rating records and maintain high popularity.
Towards the end of season two, Osman Bey (played by Burak Ozcivit) is set to lay the foundation of the newly formed ‘Ottoman Empire’. It is expected that the new season will present the journey, along with the struggles and challenges faced by Osman Bey whilst establishing law and order across the land of Anatolia, with the primary goal of gaining freedom and restoring justice.
Kurulus Osman Season 3 Release Date:
The countdown for the third season release has already begun after the producer Mehmet Bozdag posted a picture on social media on the 30th of August, announcing that the filming process for the first episode has started.
Currently, there has been no official update from ATV or the team of producers about the confirmed release date, nor have they yet launched any official trailer or promotional poster. However, it is expected that the first episode will be brought to the screens during the first week of October, and the series will continue to air every Wednesday on ATV channel.

Bozdag Film has recently announced that 10 new cast members have joined the series:
Serhat Kilic, 46, is an award winning senior Turkish actor and TV presenter who recently gained popularity for his remarkable acting as Necati Turel in the series Marasli.
Yıldıray Şahinler, 53, is a theater and film actor who is known for his role as Hafiz in the internationally popular film Miracle in Cell No.7 (2019).
Ruzgar Aksoy, 40, is a versatile actor known for his negative roles, such as Halef in Ramo (2020) and his positive roles such as Minberci Hassan in Yunus Emre, which was also a series produced by Mehmet Bozdag.
Seyma Korkmaz, 32, is a famous Turkish model and actress who started her career as the lead role in the TV series Beni Affet (2011). In 2018, she received the ‘North Africa’s Best Actress’ award from the Morocco Al Hoceima International Film Festival.
Oguzhan Karbi, 29, is a new sensation in the world of Turkish television, previously known for his role as Doruk in the series Ask Laftan Anlamaz. The young actor’s fan following is excited to see his new appearance in Kurulus Osman as a historic character.
Serhat Paril, 38, is an actor who has worked in a number of Turkish television series. The audience are eagerly waiting to see him back on screen in the new season of Kurulus Osman.
Can Bartu Aslan, 22, is a rising star in Turkish film and television. He is expected to play an integral role in the upcoming season, most likely in the role of Osman Bey’s son, either Orhan or Allaudin. It is possible that he may be playing the role of Aygul’s son - Kayi Alp or even the son of Gunduz Bey - Aydogdu Bey. The premise of his role is yet a mystery to be solved.
Melis Gurhan, 27, is a new and upcoming actress who recently graduated from Akdeniz University State Conservatory Theater Department. She started her acting career in theater and is currently airing on television in the Courtyard series in the role of the character Ozge.
Gizem Kala, 28, is also a rising star in the Turkish film and television industry. She has worked as an actress in a few projects which includes the popular Netflix series The Protector.
Burak Alp Yenilmez, 30, is also a familiar face to those who have watched Mehmet Bozdag’s series Mehmetcik Kutul Amare. He is the son of Ahmet Yenilmez, a legendary Turkish actor who plays the role of Dawut Usta in season 2 of Kurulus Osman.
Kurulus Osman Season 3 Audience Expectations:
The final episode of Kurulus Osman Season 2 (episode 64) ended with the birth of Osman Bey’s son Orhan and the glad tidings of the arrival of Allaudin. It is expected that season 3 will embark on the journey of their youth and early years of Alphood. There is likely to be a spotlight on the role of Orhan, which will show the audience all the factors that will shape him into becoming the first Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
According to some Turkish sources, the production team has built a brand new additional set for filming. There is no confirmation regarding the purpose of building this new set and what it will be used to show in the series.
The greater the responsibility, the bigger the challenges...and list of enemies! There is no doubt that Osman Bey will be head-to-head with another enemy who will stand in the way of his success. It may well be that the war between Aya Nicola will continue until the Inegol Castle is conquered.
One of the most common questions by any avid viewer of Kurulus Osman and the predecessor series Dirilis Ertugrul is whether Turgut Alp will return to conquer Inegol Castle, as it went down in history. The production team hasn’t mentioned anything regarding the return of Turgut Alp and the actor Cengiz Coskun who previously played the role of Turgut Alp in Dirilis Ertugrul has publicly confirmed that he will not be making a return in the sequel Kurulus Osman.
